Each bead of the Precious Blood Chaplet usually represents a chalice filled with Jesus' Divine Blood.
It is lifted up to the Father by Our Lady, beseeching the necessary graces for the soul and body.
The Chaplet has seven (7) "mysteries" divided into six (6) sets of five (5) beads and one (1) set of three (3) beads. The beads, a total of thirty-three (33), represent each year the Precious Blood flowed through Jesus' veins before It poured out for our salvation on the Cross.
The Our Father is prayed on each of the beads.
After each group of beads, the Glory Be...is prayed to offer thanksgiving to the Holy Trinity for the immeasurable gift of the Precious Blood.
The Precious Blood Chaplet meditates on the seven (7) bloodsheddings of Jesus throughout His life. As with an ordinary rosary, the mysteries are to be meditated upon while praying the prayers of the Chaplet.

Our Father beads: Full-color portraits of each of the bloodsheddings listed above.
Hail Mary beads: 10x6mm deep Garnet red Czech glass Blood droplet bead. (Each droplet hangs as if the drop has just fallen from our Lord.)
Center: Silver-tone depiction of the Divine Mercy on the front and the Divine Child on the reverse.
Crucifix: Silver-tone, this chaplet has no crucifix. It does have an ornate Heart medal. On the front, the heart contains the Crown of Thorns around the widest part of the heart and a Blood droplet dripping from the thorns. Encircling the heart are the words: "In honor of the 33 years and the 7 blood sheddings". On the reverse, the words directing how to pray the Precious Blood Chaplet: "OUR FATHER at each bead. GLORY BE etc. at end of each mystery."
