Divine Mercy Chaplet

Divine Mercy Chaplet

(click picture to enlarge)

EXCLUSIVELY crafted by Robyn!

You can use a regular rosary to pray the Divine Mercy, but why?

You will also receive instructions on how to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.

Exquisite chaplet brings together all the aspects of the Divine Mercy vision of St Faustina. The two-tone red and clear represent the rays emitting from Jesus in the vision. The red representing the Blood and the crystal representing the Water that spilled out of our Lord after being lanced while He was still on the cross. The centerpiece depicts St Faustina on the front and the Eucharistic chalice on the back. Instead of the crucifix of a regular rosary, this chaplet utilizes a two-dimensional medal depicting Jesus, as He appeared to St Faustina. On the reverse of the Jesus medal the words “Jesus I trust in you”, as Jesus instructed St Faustina to have on all images of the Divine Mercy.

This is a 5 decade chaplet. It measures approx. 20" (inches) in length including the crucifix.

From St Faustina's diary:
"In the evening, when I was in my cell, I saw the Lord Jesus clothed in a white garment. One hand [was] raised in the gesture of blessing, the other was touching the garment at the breast. From beneath the garment, slightly drawn aside at the breast, there were emanating two large rays, one red, the other pale."...

"After a while, Jesus said to me, 'Paint an image according to the pattern you see, with the signature: Jesus, I trust in You. I desire that this image be venerated , first in your chapel, and [then] throughout the world.'"

Again from St Faustina's diary, quoting Jesus' description of the depiction of The Divine Mercy Image
"The two rays denote Blood and Water. The pale ray stands for the water, which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood, which is the life of souls...These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross. These rays shield souls from the wrath of My Father. Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold of him."

Mini-History of The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy (from Saint Faustina's Diary)
In 1935, St faustina received a vision of an angel sent by God to chastise a certain city. She prayed, but her prayers were powerless. The Holy Trinity appeared to her and she felt Jesus' grace in her. At this time, she also pleaded with God for mercy with a prayer she heard internally. She continued to say the inspired prayer. As she did, the angel could not carry out the deserved punishment.

St Faustina went to the chapel the next day and again heard the inspirational voice instructing how to recite the prayer that our Lord called "the Chaplet". The Lord later instructed her that the Chaplet was not just for her but for everyone. He also attached great promises to the recitation.

The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy is commonly recited during the "Hour of Great Mercy"(3 p.m. each day), as our Lord asked St Faustina for a special remembrance of His Passion at that hour.
