Cloisonné beads are handmade beads that take hours to make as dozens of tiny cells are soldered to the bead's surface. Cloisonné beads are made with either flat wire or twisted wire designs using gold and/or silver wire. They are then filled with layers of enamel, being fired after each layer. Each bead is then polished for added sheen and beauty.
