Our defense against evil, St Michael assists us in the ongoing battle against evil. This chaplet showcases various colors each with a special and unique meaning. The chaplet is made up of Nine (9) Salutations each consisting of one (1) single bead followed by three (3) beads. The groups of one (1) and three (3) beads are of the same color. Each single bead starts a new color and Salutation. These Salutations are represented by the nine (9) colors listed below…
1st Salutation: Ruby Red – Celestial Choir of Seraphim
2nd Salutation: Sapphire Blue – Celestial Choir of Cherubim
3rd Salutation: Amethyst Purple – Celestial Choir of Thrones
4th Salutation: Crystal AB – Celestial Choir of Dominations
5th Salutation: Garnet Red – Celestial Choir of Virtues
6th Salutation: Aquamarine – Celestial Choir of Powers
7th Salutation: Emerald Green – Celestial Choir of Principalities

Saint Michael, appearing one day to Antonia d'Astonac, a most devout Servant of God, told her that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine Choirs of Angels, which should consist of one Our Father and three Hail Marys in honor of each of the Angelic Choirs.

Promises of St. Michael
Whoever would practice this devotion in his honor would have, when approaching the Holy Table (Holy Communion), an escort of nine angels chosen from each of the Nine Choirs of Angels. In addition, for the daily recital of these nine salutations, he promised his continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life, and after death deliverance from Purgatory for themselves and all their relations.

You will receive instructions on how to pray this very necessary chaplet.
To pray the chaplet, begin with the Invocation, then each Salutation followed by one (1) “Our Father” and three (3) “Hail Mary”s finishing with the Anthem and Prayer. The four (4) beads together on the pendant are prayed for each of the three (3) Archangels: 1. Michael (Ruby Red), 2. Gabriel (Sapphire Blue), 3. Raphael (Emerald Green) and the 4th to our Guardian Angel (Amber Topaz AB).

It measures approx. 15" (inches) in length including the medal.
