The Pro-Life Rosary has the same number of beads as an ordinary rosary, but the colors of the beads have a special symbolism as described below. By using this rosary you maintain the witness that it provides because all who see it know what you are praying for and where you stand on preserving the lives of unborn children. ~ My Treasury of Chaplets by Patricia S Quintiliani

Bead colors and explanations…
All “Our Father” beads are White / Clear beads. (This version uses Crystal Aurora Borealis)
1st Our Father (pendant): the intentions of Our Holy Father, the Pope.
Three (3) Hail Mary beads (pendant): Purple – symbolize Our Lord’s Passion and Death.
1st Decade: Alternating Aqua-blue & White / Clear beads – Aqua beads are for the intentions of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. White beads are for peace in the world.
2nd Decade: Alternating Red and White / Clear beads – Red beads are for the blood spilled from every aborted baby. White beads are for the mothers & fathers of each aborted baby.
3rd Decade: Alternating Black and White / Clear beads – Black beads symbolize the entire medical profession that participates in pro-death activities. White beads is for their conversion, repentance & courage to stand against abortion.
4th Decade: Alternating Red, White / Clear & Blue beads – Red beads for the reversal of all anti-life laws in the world. White beads are for protection and strengthening of every pro-life law in existence. Blue beads are for new and strong pro-life laws to be enacted in the world.
5th Decade: Alternating Green and White / Clear beads – Green beads symbolize Hope. White beads are to advance the cause of Jesus.

Each decade has a special prayer. You state the Mystery of the day for each decade and then pray the special prayer for that decade.

The matching center & crucifix/cross has a full-color depiction of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Protectress of the unborn. The unique, finely detailed crucifix also features scroll-work surround the oval depiction of Our Lady. Featuring similar scroll-work, the center is in the shape of a shield, as Our Lady shields the unborn from the horrors of abortion.

Information on Our Lady of Guadalupe, Protectress of the Unborn
The Story Behind Her Symbols
(Source: "The Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe;" Mexican American Cultural Center handout; Houston, Texas.)
Face: Always compassionate. The Indians felt that the face was the window of the inner person. She is almost always dark-skinned and dark-haired like Indians.
Hands: Her hands are not poised in the traditional Western style of prayer but in the Indian manner of offering. (Note: we could not find any examples of such hands on the Westside)
Sun Rays: The sun rays recalled for the Indians that the sun played a key role in their civilization. But the image of the Virgin is meant to be greater than the sun-she hides the sun; only the rays come forth. She hides the sun, but does not extinguish it.
Angel: The angel at the bottom of the image was seen by the Indians as an "intermediary god" carrying in a new era.
Eyes: Her eyes are always humble, looking down, suggesting that, great as she is, she is not a god. Indian gods never looked down-they looked straight ahead.
Mantle: The usual color is turquoise-a color that was once reserved for the great god Omecihuatl. Although the Indians had many "intermediary gods," Omecihuatl was considered the supreme god.
Maternity Bands: The maternity band around her waist was the Indian symbol for a pregnant women, a mother who will give birth.
Stars: The stars on the mantle are a sign that a new civilization, or era, is beginning. The Indian tradition recognized the end and the beginning of different eras throughout the ages, and the destruction of a particular civilization or era was always accompanied by a comet, or a body of stars.
Moon: Standing on the moon indicates that she is greater than the god of night, the Moon God.
