Exquisite rosary featuring full-color center with depiction of St. Christopher carrying the child Jesus across the water!

This St Christopher rosary reminds us of the story of St Christopher, which means Christ-bearer (Greek: christos, Christ, pherein, to bear); (Latin: Christophorus, Christbearer)…
He was born at Canaan as Offero. “His fame derives from the pious legend of him being a ‘Christ-bearer’. He was a powerfully built man who wandered the world in search of novelty and adventure. He came upon a hermit who lived beside a dangerous stream and served others by guiding them to safe places to cross. [The hermit] gave Offero instruction in the truth of God. Offero took the hermit's place, but instead of guiding travelers, he carried them safely across the stream.
One day he carried a small child across the stream; the child's weight nearly crushed him. When they arrived on the other side, the child revealed himself as Christ, and he was so heavy because he bore the weight of the world on himself. He then baptized Offero with water from the stream. The gorgeous sapphire blue Czech glass beads are representative of the blue waters St Christopher waded through carrying our Lord as well as the baptism of St Christopher by Christ, Himself. This striking rosary is beautifully accented with a full-color center depicting the epic story told above and the Papal crucifix gives the finishing touch.

This is a 5 decade rosary. It measures approx. 20" (inches) in length including the crucifix.
