Reminiscent of the common Mother’s Ring, this “Family” rosary takes that concept to a whole new level.

This “Family” rosary is the heart and soul of personalized rosaries! What Mother or Grandmother wouldn’t want a rosary personalized with the birthstones of her children, grandchildren or both? A beautiful gift that will bring many blessings! Dressed up with a double chain creating a beautiful ladder commonly known as a Jacob’s Ladder rosary. This delicate rosary feels like lace between your fingers.

The meaning behind the Mother/Grandmother Family Rosary……(This appears on a special card included with rosary)
This unique rosary is dedicated to a special lady who means the world to her family!
As you pray each decade and your fingers pass from bead to bead, may you have many blessings! May you have warm thoughts, fond memories and a special prayer for the loved one each bead represents!
Between each decade and on the pendant, as well, are two lovely roses – a full dozen for a lady more lovely than them all! the symbol of love – six roses in bloom and six more as buds represent a mother’s love blooming still!
Four roses on the crucifix tell of another love – a mother, a Son, and His sacrifice for His love of us all!

Can be personalized in a number of ways…
Only one child…no problem…the entire rosary can be made one birthstone color.
Two children…alternate them. The pendant can be made with the mother/grandmother’s birthstone
Three children…the rosary pictured is an example of three birthstones. Instead, I included the mother and the father. The first two birthstones are the father, then the mother. The next three are the children in chronological order (oldest first). The pendant is again the three children in chronological order (oldest first). (This photo is of the actual rosary my brothers and I gave Mom for her birthday in December of 2006! She loves it!)
Four children…include either the mother’s or father’s birthstone as one of the decades and the other parent as the pendant. (I would suggest leading with the mother’s birthstone on the pendant and the father’s as the first decade.)
Five children…obviously all five decades will be represented. Use the mother’s birthstone for the pendant.

I also usually try to include the father, if possible, because without him the family would not be possible.

This is a 5 decade rosary. It measures approx. 17" (inches) in length including the crucifix.

Our Father beads: Dainty round 6mmCzech glass White Pearly-Opal Lampwork beads with a delicate pink rose and green leaves on each side. Each bead is capped with an elegant gold-plated flowerette bead-cap. (These beads can be substituted with beads that represent family members, as well, if need be.)

Hail Mary beads: 6mm Glass-based round Pearl bead, often-times of Czech glass, in your choice of Birthstone colors. (See below)

Center: Gold-plated Pewter heart-shaped. Finely detailed, raised Silhouette of Mary with enameled white backdrop adorned with red roses & green leaves. Fancy cuts around edge of heart. Matches crucifix.

Crucifix: Gold-plated Pewter. Finely detailed with enameled points featuring white backdrop adorned with a single rose. Fancy cuts at top of Jesus’ head. Matches center.
